MICHELLE
Michelle graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California with her B.A. in Psychology. She worked in Pomona’s Admissions Office all four years of her college career as a student ambassador, and later was hired as a full-time Senior Admissions Interviewer, during which she interviewed applicants one-on-one and contributed evaluative reports to applicant files. She also sat in on committee meetings and thus offers exclusive, behind-the-scenes knowledge of how admissions officers review student profiles.
Michelle has deeply enjoyed being a College Admissions Consultant and Essay Specialist for the past 8 years. She is passionate about guiding students and families through this momentous life transition with her warm, enthusiastic personality, and finds particular strength in her ability to easily develop rapport with students. Moreover, her excellent creative writing and teaching skills help students develop compelling narratives that best highlight their strengths, accomplishments, and ambitions.
Michelle is also a professional photographer who enjoys capturing people’s most treasured events, travels, and life moments through her camera. In her free time, you can find her outdoors hiking with her dog Koa, playing grass volleyball, or surfing the beautiful waters of Honolulu, Hawai’i.
CHRIS
Chris graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with his B.A. in Political Science. With over six years of experience in the test preparation and admissions industry, in addition to a background in law school admissions, Chris focuses on enhancing educational outcomes for students based on their unique, personal circumstances.
He demonstrates his passion for education by consistently seeking new ways to serve and support his students. He specializes in understanding every student’s individual needs, equipping them to excel in both their academic and professional endeavors.
After work, you can find Chris scaling walls at the local climbing gym or playing competitive indoor volleyball. Notably, he embraces the digital nomad lifestyle, traveling and living between various countries to continuously immerse himself in new cultures. Chris considers himself a lifelong learner and brings his nuanced global perspective to everything he does.
